Hi, everyone. My name is Louis. I'm studying business administration here at Boston University, and welcome to Agganis Arena. Agganis Arena is home to our BU men's ice hockey team, several different concerts, matriculation for our new freshman class, and several other events here at the university. So why don't you follow me, and I'll show you around.

Both Boston University student and Red Sox player, Harry Agganis, was a star athlete during his time at Boston University. And the story goes that one day he was playing in a Red Sox game over at Fenway Park, hit a home run, and then immediately ran up Commonwealth Avenue to Nickerson Field to go receive his Boston University diploma. And that's just one of the reasons we call this space Harry Agganis Arena.

Game day is one of the most exciting times here at the university. You get to see all of your classmates coming out dressed in their BU gear ready to cheer on the Terriers. Boston University is home to 23 Division I athletics here. And we've recently joined the Patriot League, which is really important to us because of the emphasis on academics. So Boston University really is telling us that while we are athletes, we are, first and foremost, students.

But we're not all division one athletes. And that's why Boston University has activities like intramural and club sports. You can be involved in anything from tennis to soccer. Thanks so much for letting me show you around Agganis Arena. I hope you're able to see why this is one of my favorite places on campus. So definitely be sure to check it out when you visit Boston University.
