Hello, everyone. My name is Joe Ferme. I'm studying biochemistry and molecular biology here in our College of Arts and Sciences. And I'm originally from Long Island, New York.

Right now we are in Mugar Memorial Library, our largest and main library on campus. Mugar is home to many resources that we, as BU students, are utilizing. This is our research center over here.

Across 23 libraries on our campus, that's a lot of resources to work through. And we're not left to our own devices to navigate it. With research assistants on duty whenever the library's open, there are great opportunities to help us find that paper or article we're looking for, and once we do, properly incorporate it into what we're working on.

Also here within Mugar is our IT Help Center desk. And they're always there, able to help you out with any technological need you may have.

Although there are plenty of study spaces, if the overall environment doesn't suit your style, that's OK. We have 22 other libraries on our campus here, the majority of which are going to be specialized. So you'll find a Science and Engineering Library, a School of Education library-- where the resources there are going to be geared to those disciplines. And the overall environment will just be a little bit different.

No matter what you're looking for on our campus here, you'll be able to find it in one of our libraries. The libraries around campus or open up until 2:00 AM every day, except during finals period, when we're actually open up 24/7. During those times, you can definitely find free coffee in the libraries, and sometimes-- if you're lucky-- even free breakfast.

So now you can see why I love studying and hanging out here in Mugar Memorial Library. But come to campus yourself and check out any of our 22 other libraries here.
