Hi everyone. We're standing in front of Kilachand Hall. This is home to the freshman in the Kilachand Honors College at Boston University. Come follow me, and let's take a look inside.

The Kilachand Honors College is an interdisciplinary program for students from all different majors of study. And the focus is on allowing students to take classes outside of their major that are going to supplement whatever their major may be. This program provides a living, and learning community for students to be able to get that smaller college feel within a large urban research institution.

All students will complete what's called the Senior Keystone Research Project. This is where undergraduates will have the opportunity to conduct their own research as seniors here at Boston University. One of the things that I like the most about this program is that it helps bridge the gap between the classroom, and the professional world so that students feel comfortable pursuing whatever they would like to do after graduation. Thanks for coming to check out the Kilachand Honors College with me today. We look forward to seeing you when you come visit us on campus.
